Tim Fisher

Artistic inspiration comes from many places. I believe that in most artistic inspiration, the need to create comes from within but everyone needs an image to express and create a personal language. My image is the sky – with the power and spirit that it possesses.
Like many artists I have tried to paint the landscape, but was never satisfied with the results. It wasn’t until turning my focus and energy skyward that I was able to achieve a personal satisfaction in the work I was producing. I present a number of those pieces.
In my travels, I have encountered many places where the sky seems to envelop you. These places and times are my sources of inspiration.
Though the paintings are inspired by specific places, my goal is to have the viewer be able to interact with the sky images and to have their own personal connection to the painting. My hope is that after viewing the paintings you are left with a feeling of remembrance to a time and place where the sky was significant to you.
